Five generations of New Mexico cattle growers
Baxter Vanderbilt Culp settled around Lovington, New Mexico in 1903. He received his homestead patent for 320 acres west of Hobbs in 1917. He later bought, sold, and leased land around the Monument, New Mexico area until he put down roots around Caprock in the 1930s. Our family purchased the Buckeye, Culp, and Malmstrom ranches in the 1980s. We have continued to expand our operations over recent years we purchased the Graham ranch in 1995, the Moore ranch in 2014, the Mathers ranch in 2018, the Wade in 2019, the Soldier Hill ranch in 2020, and Red Bluff in 2022.
